Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to safely attend greyhound or horse race meetings or events held at racecourses. It includes knowledge of greyhound and/or horse behaviour, regulatory standards, rules of racing and racing event industry practices and protocols. The unit applies to individuals who carry out a range of work activities at racing events requiring compliance with safe operating procedures, racing protocols and identification of animal behaviour in a variety of racing event situations. No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
